About the Work:
The Naga, a giant serpent-like mythical creature, appears in Buddhism, Hinduism, and Southeast Asian mythology. In Thai tradition, nagas are often depicted with intricate, colourful scales and a majestic head, sometimes with multiple faces. They are revered as guardians of rivers and lakes, and their imagery graces temples, art, and architecture.
Trio of the Naga Dwellings (2025) captures the three habitats attributed to these creatures, spanning from the Earth’s surface to the depths below:
